A missing confirmation email does not necessarily mean the booking failed. Work through these in order before rebooking, because booking twice is a common and expensive mistake.
- Search your inbox for the supplier's name, not the word 'confirmation'.
- Check spam, promotions and any filtered folders.
- Confirm the address you typed at checkout — a typo sends the email nowhere.
- Check your bank or card statement for a pending authorisation, which indicates the booking went through.
- Contact the supplier directly with your name, dates and pickup location so they can find it without a reference number.
Do not rebook straight away
If a charge or authorisation appears on your card, a reservation almost certainly exists. Booking a second one usually means paying twice and cancelling one under whatever terms it carries.
